Cafe Connections

Food hunger and insecurity resides in every community. The Rotary Club in partnership with the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge, Murray Bridge Lions and the Soroptomists  partnered with the Salvation Army to provide a 3 course meal for any who present on a Thursday night. The clubs undertaking to provide volunteers to serve and wash-up on the night and to fund the cost of the meal.
 

The values of dignity and inclusion underpinned  the service provided by the cafe, where all were welcomed and invitations extended through community and homelessness services.  Cafe Connection: Affordable and quality meals, everyone welcome

 

Prior to Covid-19 the Mobilong Club's contribution to Cafe Connect was $2,000, the Club continues to honour its partnership with the Salvation Army with a donation of $500 to the Red Shield Appeal.
